Google’s ‘new and improved’ Contributor program is accepting early sign-ups

Welcome back, Contributor. Sort of.

As Google promised when the original Contributor program was entirely erased earlier this month, a replacement is on the way. There aren’t many details yet, and it’s not clear if this will look anything like the original service that killed ads in exchange for a monthly fee from users, but at least we know it’s not dead forever right?

Xiaomi is launching a dedicated Mi Community in India, beta signups now live

Xiaomi is launching a Mi Community for its Indian fans. The manufacturer is taking registrations for 500 beta testers, and the forum is set to go live on June 20. Through the Mi Community, fans will be able to share feedback, suggest new ideas, take part in contests, and more. The members in the community will also be eligible to attend product launches, and win “exclusive prizes.”

Pokemon GO field test signups now open in the U.S.

Registration for the Pokemon GO Field Test is now open to those in the U.S., giving even more people a chance to try capturing and battling Pokemon in the real world before the game’s full launch.
