Latest MIUI 9.2 build brings stable Oreo update to the Xiaomi Mi 6

Xiaomi has started rolling out the stable Oreo update, with the Mi 6 becoming the first device to receive the OTA build.

Xiaomi hasn’t detailed its Oreo plans until this point, but that’s changing today. Samsung rolls out stable Oreo update to Galaxy S8/S8+, starting with Europe

The stable Oreo update is going out to beta testers first, with a wide release slated for later this week.

Samsung concluded the Oreo beta program for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ at the end of last month, with a stable build set to hit both devices sometime in February. It now looks like the company has kicked off the update process, starting with customers in Europe.

Stable Oreo update is now rolling out to the Nokia 5 and Nokia 6

A month after the beta build went live, the Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 are getting the stable Oreo update.

After announcing the Oreo beta program for the Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 last month, HMD Global is now delivering the stable Oreo build to both devices. HMD’s Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas announced on Twitter that the OTA update is now rolling out to both the Nokia 5 and Nokia 6.

Stable Android Oreo build leaks for Galaxy S8 with Dolby Atmos support

Samsung gets the Dolby treatment.

Last November, Samsung started accepting beta testers for an early run of Android Oreo for the Galaxy S8. Samsung’s been informing users that the beta will end on Monday, January 15, and ahead of this, someone’s leaked a non-beta version of Oreo for the S8 on Reddit.

Stable Oreo update now rolling out to the LG V30 in South Korea

LG V30 starts receiving the Android 8.0 Oreo update.

LG has been beta testing the Oreo update for the LG V30 in its home market for nearly a month, and the company is now rolling out the stable build. Like the beta update, the stable Oreo build is initially rolling out to V30 users in South Korea.

Oreo stable update now rolling out to the OnePlus 5, Face Unlock coming soon

After a month of beta testing, the Oreo stable update is now available for the OnePlus 5.

OnePlus said it’ll deliver Android 8.0 Oreo to the OnePlus 5 in early 2018, and the company is now rolling out the update ahead of schedule. The OxygenOS 5.0 update comes in at 1.5GB, and includes the December security patch along with a slew of new features and tweaks.

Stable Nougat OTA now hitting Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, starting with beta users

Android 7.0 Nougat is now making its way to the S7 and S7 edge.

After concluding the beta program last week, Samsung announced that it would roll out the stable Android 7.0 Nougat update to the Galaxy S7 and the S7 edge later this month. The company is now kicking off its rollout, with the update making its way initially to those enrolled in the Galaxy Beta Programme.
