Google Pay Send now starting to replace Google Wallet

More of the same.

Earlier this week, Google announced that it was finally ready to say goodbye to Android Pay and replace it with Google Pay. The end goal of Google Pay is to offer all of the functionality of Android Pay and Google Wallet in one single app, but in the meantime, we get to mess around with the v22 update to Google Wallet that rebrands it as Google Pay Send.

Samsung rolls out stable Oreo update to Galaxy S8/S8+, starting with Europe

The stable Oreo update is going out to beta testers first, with a wide release slated for later this week.

Samsung concluded the Oreo beta program for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ at the end of last month, with a stable build set to hit both devices sometime in February. It now looks like the company has kicked off the update process, starting with customers in Europe.

LG is reportedly ditching the G7 and starting over from scratch

LG’s CEO issued the order right after CES.

The year of 2018 has been an odd one so far for LG. Sony’s taking to CES 2018 to launch three new mid-range phones: the Xperia XA2, XA2 Ultra and L2. They look like fine phones. They have solid specs for mid-range devices and a few neat features.
