After months of pushback, Huawei’s reached its breaking point.

After months of setbacks over security concerns from the U.S. government, Huawei has finally reached its breaking point. During a meeting in its home of Shenzhen, China, Huawei agreed that it’ll be shifting its focus and resources to other markets outside of the States.

During the meeting, rotating CEO Eric Xu said –

Huawei can’t catch a break in a political environment that’s set against it.

According to CNET, Huawei is set to lose another U.S. sales outlet as Best Buy plans to stop selling unlocked Huawei phones. Nest will stop selling products on Amazon following a ban on its latest hardware

AT&T being urged to stop its commercial relationship with Huawei

This would prevent AT&T from working with Huawei on 5G developments.

This past week has been a rough one for Huawei. The company’s plans to launch its Mate 10 Pro flagship phone on AT&T and Verizon were scrapped during CES 2018, and shortly after this, a bill was proposed to prevent all government agencies from using Huawei’s network equipment.

LG will stop releasing new phones every year

A new strategy to cope with 11 quarters of consecutive losses.

While Samsung and Apple dominate the global smartphone market, LG continues on its never-ending struggle.
