Google readying a 5G Pixel phone, report suggests

We’re less than a week away from Google’s next hardware event where it’s expected the company will introduce a number of products. Key among them, of course, will be the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. Also anticipated are a possible smartwatch a new Pixel notebook.

Leaked email suggests the Pixel 4 will be available on AT&T

Google finally broke away from its Verizon exclusivity earlier this year.

What you need to know A supposed internal document suggests that AT&T will carry the Pixel 4. Google’s Pixel phones are currently available on Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, and U.S. Cellular. We’re expecting the Pixel 4 to be announced on October 15.

Android 10 could arrive September 3, report suggests

After months in beta, Android Q has officially become Android 10. What’s next for the platform? Why, that would be having the software find its way to devices.

Although the Pixel 4 (and Pixel 4XL) is set to be the first new device to launch with Android 10, the mobile software will make its way to other phones first. At least that’s what we’re led to believe.

New rumor suggests Huawei Mate 30 Pro will have two 40MP cameras

The Mate 30 Pro could feature a 40MP primary sensor joined by another 40MP lens with a 120-degree field-of-view.

What you need to know A new tweet by Ice Universe says the Mate 30 Pro will feature two 40MP sensors at the back. Google to debut Pixel 3a series on May 7, chatter suggests

Google is set to introduce the long-rumored Pixel 3a models of phones next month, if recent reports prove accurate.

As noticed by 9to5google, the Google Store has pushed live a landing page which promises “something big in the Pixel universe” for May 7. It just so happens that this is the same day that Google I/0 2019 gets started. The annual developer conference would make for a smart venue to introduce new devices, particularly because of the often Android-heavy discussions.

Xiaomi render suggests the Mi Mix 3 will also feature a mechanical slider

Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi Mix 3 will also have a mechanical slider, but it could be very different from what we’ve already seen so far.

New report suggests India’s local manufacturing sector is struggling

Investment in India’s local manufacturing industry is drying up.

Earlier this month, Samsung announced that it opened a new manufacturing plant in India capable of producing 120 million handsets a year — making it the largets phone factory in the world. The move is a win for Narendra Modi’s “Make in India” initiative, which is designed to facilitate foreign investment in India’s manufacturing industry.

New teaser suggests the OnePlus 6 will be water resistant

The OnePlus 6 will have some form of water resistance.

OnePlus gave us a tantalizing peek of the OnePlus 6 design last week, with the company stating its upcoming flagship will offer a “refined” form factor. The teaser revealed little about the design aesthetic of the phone other than the fact that the Alert Slider will move to a new position, and now OnePlus’ latest teaser highlights another feature of its upcoming phone: water resistance.

New leak suggests LG’s 2018 flagship will be called the LG G7 ThinQ

LG needs to reThinQ its product naming decisions.

LG’s 2018 flagship is slated to launch sometime this quarter, and if a new leak from Evan Blass is any indication, the phone will be called the LG G7 ThinQ. LG said earlier this year that it was ditching the G-series branding in favor of a new naming convention, but it doesn’t look like the name will change all that much after all.
