We’re one week away from the launch of the Pixel and Pixel XL. The handsets have leaked in live photos last week, and this time around we’re being treated to an alleged press render of the Pixel. Xiaomi Max with 6.4-inch display surfaces

It looks like Xiaomi is all set to launch a phablet with a 6.4-inch display, dubbed Max. A leaked image of the phone’s display panel shows off capacitive buttons at the bottom of the screen and narrow bezels.

Latest OnePlus X update surfaces Android security patch level, currently on Jan. 1 release

With the latest update to OxygenOS 2.2.0, the OnePlus X now properly displays its Android security patch level in the settings separate from the rest of the software information. The phone is currently on the January 1, 2016 release, which means at least for the next few days (assuming Google sticks to the monthly schedule) it’s on the latest security patch.

First live photo of alleged LG Nexus 5 2015 surfaces

The first live photo of an alleged LG Nexus 5 2015 has surfaced on Google+. The image in question reveals the back of a white Nexus handset, highlighting a protruding camera sensor as well as a circular fingerprint scanner. An LG sticker at the bottom and a “Not For Sale” sticker alongside the Nexus logo are also clearly evident.
