Honor shares the first photos taken from the View 20’s 48MP camera

Honor’s upcoming View 20 flagship has a 48MP camera at the back.

Xiaomi isn’t the only manufacturer set to launch a phone with a 48MP camera, as Honor confirmed today that its upcoming flagship will also sport Sony’s IMX586 48MP imaging sensor at the back.

OnePlus CEO gives us an early look at the camera capabilities of the OnePlus 6.

The OnePlus 6 hype machine is in full swing, with the Chinese manufacturer teasing new details about its upcoming flagship on a daily basis now. We saw yesterday that the phone will be the first OnePlus device to offer water resistance, and just a few hours later OnePlus CEO Pete Lau shared the first camera samples taken with the device on Weibo.

Google and Huawei taken to court over Nexus 6P performance issues

Suffering boot loops and severe battery drain? A lawsuit filed in Texas alleges the same, and that Google and Huawei have offered little help on the matter.

The Nexus 6P battery drain and boot looping issues have happened to so many people — my husband and myself, included —that there’s now a lawsuit filed against Google and Huawei over the device’s numerous issues.

Huawei apologizes for implying photo taken with Canon DSLR was taken with its P9

In his review of the Huawei P9, our own Nick Sarafolean had positive things to say about the new flagship, even pointing out that some of the images captured by the smartphone could compare to DSLRs and mirrorless cameras. Apparently Huawei feels the same way, but decided to go about things a bit differently.

Google explains why some photos taken with the Nexus 5X are upside down

The recently-launched Nexus 5X smartphone from Google includes a 12.3MP rear camera. However, many owners of the phone have discovered that taking images with the Nexus 5X have resulted in photos that are upside down. Now, a Google team member has revealed the reason, as well as a solution to the problem.

Tweetdeck services taken offline after rapidly-spreading exploit

If are a big user of Tweetdeck, you might have noticed some issues with using those apps today. A security issue that was first discovered with the Chrome app version has since caused the app’s owners at Twitter to shut down all Tweetdeck services to fix the problem.
