According to new support documents, Telus is expecting to push the upcoming Android Marshmallow update to both the Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 beginning October 5. Google is hosting an event on September 29, in which it will likely reveal new hardware, along with more information about the release of the new OS.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active is now available from Canadian carrier TELUS. The device will cost CA$ 250 with a two-year commitment, and CA$ 750 if purchased outright.
TELUS has just informed Android Central via email that the Canadian wireless provider will offer the new Moto X smartphone for sale soon, along with the Moto 360 smartwatch.
Verizon’s Galaxy S3 — yes, that old salt — is getting an update today. And this update, apparently, gives the phone roaming access on Canada’s Telus network. And … well, that’s it. Canadian carrier Telus today announced that it’s now putting up for preorder the Samsung Galaxy S5, Gear 2 smartwatch, and Gear Fit fitness tracker. Telus also has changed up the pricing for its GS5, lowing it by $ 20 to $ 229 on a two-year contract. Outright price remains $ 730.
