OnePlus 6 vs. Samsung Galaxy S9+ camera comparison: Closer than you’d think

Does an extra $ 300 buy you a much better camera?

The LG G6 ThinQ is an old phone, rebranded rather than reborn

The LG G6 ThinQ is LG’s flagship from last year with the addition of new AI camera features. LG’s decision to rebrand one of its most unpopular phones is probably for marketing purposes, though it seems rather unnecessary.

The future of Chrome OS is to compete with the iPad, but it’s a long fight.

It should be abundantly clear by now that Android tablets are never going to catch on. Instead, it looks more and more like Google is positioning Chrome OS with Android apps to fill that space. The Galaxy S9 has dramatically faster LTE than the iPhone X, but that isn’t the whole story

The Galaxy S9 may be 42% faster than the competition, but that’s not as impressive as it may sound.

As technology advances and more of what we do transitions to the internet and cloud, it’s increasingly more important to carry smartphones that offer reliable LTE performance. Samsung recently revealed that the Galaxy S9 and S9+ have demonstrated LTE speeds that are up to 42% faster than competing handsets in real-world conditions, and while that might sound like a seriously  [Read More…]

We’re already seeing the fruits of Google’s labor with Treble and Android P.

While we’re all busy arguing about Android P’s gestures and swooning over the new features, something far more exciting didn’t get the attention I think it deserves: seeing the first fruits of Google’s labor with Project Treble. In a completely unexpected move, Google released the first beta version of Android P for not only its own Pixel phones, but also phones from seven different  [Read More…]

RhinoShield’s GS9 cases are even better than they look and cheaper than we deserve

A touch of class. Fully badass.

You either have a case or you don’t. And you have preferences for the kind of case you want to adorn your phone, from clear to clearly hardcore and everything in between. That’s totally normal. But some companies fall a little under the radar and need an extra push getting the attention they deserve. RhinoShield’s products fall into that category.

For the Galaxy S9 series, the company has released two very  [Read More…]
