Windows 10’s Timeline feature is coming to Android

Windows Timeline will be coming to Android devices later this year via the Microsoft Launcher app.

At Build 2018, Microsoft has today announced that it is bringing support for Windows Timeline to Android and iOS later this year. Edge activities are already logged on Windows 10 PCs from the Edge app on your phone, but coming soon is the ability to see that same timeline directly on your phone for resuming web browsing activities and more.

Twitter brings algorithms to the timeline, but the world will carry on as normal

Twitter has announced the company will be rolling out a new timeline feature that aims to keep you up-to-date with people you stalk online. Enabling this new algorithmic timeline feature will see the social blogging site attempt to select tweets that Twitter feels you most care about while you’re away. Fortunately for now, this optional feature is disabled by default and will remain so unless you activate it, until Twitter begins flipping the switch for everyone.

Here comes the switch: Twitter ready to launch algorithmic timeline

According to a new report, Twitter may be about to flip the switch on a change that will significantly alter the way items show up in your timeline. With the change, Twitter will switch from showing tweets in reverse chronological order to algorithmically showing what it thinks users want to see at that moment. The report comes from Buzzfeed News, which says that Twitter may implement the change as soon as next week:

Pebble Time smartwatches can now track your fitness, first-gen watches get the Timeline update

Pebble has released version 3.8 of its software which brings a number of big changes to the different lines of watches. First up is a feature addition for the Pebble Time watches, including the Pebble Time Steel and Pebble Time Round, and that’s Pebble Health. Instead of needing a third-party app to track your fitness, your Pebble Time can now do it on its own, tracking both your activity and sleep.

Pebble begins testing its timeline update on Android, official release later this month

Pebble has announced that it will bring Pebble Firmware 3.0 to the original Pebble smartwatch soon. Firmware 3.0 introduced a new user interface, including timeline, which shows notifications, current activities, and upcoming appointments, weather, and more. The firmware first made its debut on the Pebble Time smartwatch earlier this year.
