On Sept. 24, customers can pick up a pretty decent selection which includes the  [Read More…]

T-Mobile bound Galaxy Tab Plus poses for unofficial photoshoot

Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus

The back and forth that has kept Samsung’s legal team busy clearly hasn’t slowed down its design team, as tonight we’re getting a first look at the T-Mobile bound Galaxy Tab Plus, yet another addition to Samsung’s Galaxy tablet line. This 7-inch Honeycomb-powered follow up to the original Galaxy Tab isn’t to be confused with the 7.7 inch model we saw at IFA: The Plus is noticeably heftier, likely the  [Read More…]

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with T-Mobile 4G passes FCC, rounded corners and all

AWS Galaxy Tab

A version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with T-Mobile (and several Canadian carriers’) AWS bands has passed through the FCC, in a form factor that’s unchanged from the Wifi version we all know and love.  Of course we have no idea if this will get any sort of T-Mobile branding, or be offered subsidized, but it’s another option for folks who would rather drop a SIM card in and go  [Read More…]

Smozzy lets T-Mobile users surf the web without a data plan (It’s inefficient but cool)

cnn-smozzy

A new beta app allows T-Mobile USA customers to browse the Internet without needing a data plan. Through a clever workaround compatible with Android 2.1 or higher, users can send out requests to the web and have the results – slowly and rather inefficiently – returned.

Smozzy works in an interesting manner. The app sends out a  [Read More…]

HTC Ruby gets new set of pics, more specs, still looking at October launch as T-Mobile Amaze 4G

HTC Ruby

One of our minor complaints regarding the T-Mobile HTC Sensation 4G was a wee bit of lag when compared to its cousin, the Sprint EVO 3D. We’ve pretty much chalked that up to the EVO 3D’s increased RAM, and whatever difference in software tweaks you’ll find between a Sprint and T-Mobile device. But that might all about to become moot, with yet another appearance of the HTC Ruby, which is believed to be destined for T-Mobile as  [Read More…]

RadioShack Offering All T-Mobile Android Phones for FREE (Limited Time)

RadioShack is now offering all of their T-Mobile postpaid handset for free as part of a thinly veiled attempt to disguise their soon-to-be-terminated relationship with the carrier. They are calling a “back to school” deal but we know what it is. Either way, there are some serious bargains to be had if you are considering a T-Mobile smart phone.

Beginning today and running through September 14th, RadioShack is offering  [Read More…]

Deutsche Telekom responds to DOJ antitrust suit; who else could buy T-Mobile?

Tmobile

August has certainly been one of the craziest months on record for the telecom industry. The month went out with a bang; the US Department of Justice filed an antitrust suit attempting to kill the proposed merger between AT&T and T-Mobile.

In the chaos yesterday, both AT&T and Sprint issued official responses to the filing, but Deutsche Telekom was notably absent. We knew they wouldn’t remain silent for long, and late yesterday  [Read More…]

T-Mobile Announces Galaxy S II but Doesn’t Have a Date or Price Yet

Well that’s just awesome.  We’ve waited for months on end for the U.S. carriers to announce their respective iterations of the Galaxy S II and then we’re hung out to dry by at least one of them.  T-Mobile is the first carrier to shoot out a press release for the handset tonight, acknowledging the phone but promising additional details in the coming weeks.  Yeah, you heard that right.  There  [Read More…]

Motorola announces the Pro+ with support for AT&T and T-Mobile

Motorola today announced the Pro+, a new QWERTY Android smartphone. If we didn’t tell you the name of this device you would have sworn it was either the Droid Pro on Verizon or the XPRT on Sprint.

Nothing about the Pro+ is earth shattering. It ships with Android 2.3 Gingerbread powered by a 1GHz processor. It includes a 3.1-inch 480 x 640 touch display  [Read More…]
