Sony’s ‘selfie’ focused phone launches tomorrow

Sony is getting set to launch a new smartphone that makes it easier to capture selfies. The device will be officially announced tomorrow, and while there aren’t any details as to what it will be called or its availability, an earlier leak suggested that the selfie-focused phone will be available in all major global markets.

Galaxy Tab S U.S. pre-orders start tomorrow

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S devices go on pre-sale tomorrow for the U.S. following an initial announcement for U.K. availability. The 10.5-inch Wi-Fi version will go for $ 499, and the 8.4-inch version will be $ 399. The LTE versions won’t be ready until later this year, and only Verizon will be getting the 8.4-inch 4G Samsung Galaxy Tab S. Reminder: Moto X penny down test drive begins tomorrow

Motorola’s campaign to get the Moto X into the hands of more users begins tomorrow. Starting Monday, June 9, Motorola will allow users to build a custom Moto X through the Moto Maker Design Studio and try it for just $ 0.01. The in-home trial will last for two weeks, offering customers a relatively easy and risk free way to trial the Moto X and many of its unique features, including Active Display Notifications.

The HTC One M8 will be $100 off tomorrow from HTC.com

HTC is running a Mother’s Day promotion where its flagship HTC One M8 will be offered for half off. The One M8 will be sold through HTC’s online store for just $ 99, down from the usual $ 199 asking price, with a two-year contract through carrier partners AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint.

AT&T LG G Flex slated to get KitKat update tomorrow

AT&T owners of the LG G Flex might find themselves mashing that check for updates button tomorrow, as a new support doc from AT&T indicates that an update to Android 4.4.2 KitKat should be rolling out starting on April 17th. The AT&T G Flex last saw an update back in February, but it was a small bug fix release for Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. This update will be chock full of KitKat goodness.
