Uber is bringing its food delivery service to India

Uber’s on-demand online food delivery service is coming to India.

Uber has announced that its standalone food delivery app UberEATS will be making its debut in India shortly. The service is currently available in 58 cities around the world, and will launch in at least six cities across India.

You can now book an Uber or Ola directly from Google search results in India

Google Maps picked up integration for ride-hailing services earlier this year, allowing customers to see fare estimates and pickup times for Uber, myTaxi, Ola, Gett, and other services from within the Maps interface.

The company is now rolling out the feature to its search results. Just enter your intended destination in the Google Search app or in Chrome, and you’ll see fare estimates and pickup times for ride services within the search results.

Uber begins Scheduled Rides rollout in Seattle, more cities coming soon

Uber has started rolling out its new Scheduled Rides feature, starting in Seattle, for its business customers. It will allow those users to schedule a pickup date from the shared ride service from 30 minutes to 30 days in advance.
