Samsung unveils its first Exynos processor designed for cars

The Exynos Auto V9 will power Audi’s next-gen infotainment system.

Just a few days before CES 2019 begins, Samsung’s already made a pretty big announcement ahead of the convention — officially unveiling its Exynos Auto V9 processor.

Verizon unveils new app that lets you add multiple numbers to one device

Verizon announced a new solution for people on its network who carry multiple phones for personal and business use.

The carrier launched a new app called My Numbers which lets subscribers add up to four additional numbers to one smartphone. Interested parties can download the application via the Play Store.

Verizon’s My Numbers is not a free service

Each line costs $ 15 and comes with unlimited calling and texting, but also with its own voicemail, inbox and texting services.  [Read More…]

Google unveils its own Chrome OS tablet, the Pixel Slate

Google still thinks tablets are in, so today the search giant unveiled the Pixel Slate.  A Chrome OS tablet, the new device comes with a detachable keyboard cover that can turn it into a laptop substitute.

The product starts at $ 599 and will be available later this year. Google will be offering it in a variety of configuration, the most expensive one being quite high-end with an 8th gen Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.  [Read More…]

Microsoft unveils Xbox Project xCloud game streaming

Plex unveils Web Shows, a new way to watch and discover content

You might have heard of Plex. This is a service that organizes your own personal media library and allows streaming on several devices, from your game consoles to mobile devices. It also works on Chromecast, Amazon Fire, the latest smart TVs (including Android TV), and more.

Sony unveils two new PlayStation VR bundles just in time for the holidays

Huawei unveils EMUI 9 based on Android 9 Pie, beta applications start today

The Huawei Mate 20 is launching in just over a month, and following on from yesterday’s Kirin 980 SoC announcement, we’ve just had our first glimpse of the software that’ll run on the new handset.
