Amazon Kindle Fire, the 7-inch sub-$200 Android tablet (Update)


Amazon is all set to unveil their 7-inch Android tablet to the market, with a press conference scheduled for 10 a.m. EST.  It seems Bloomberg has let the cat out of the bag a bit early this morning, and has revealed the official pricing for the upcoming tablet.

The 7-inch Amazon Fire will be unleashed for an incredibly affordable $ 199.

ThunderBolt Gingerbread changelog is up! Update includes customizable dock?

Here she be, folks. Verizon’s posted the changelog for the ThunderBolt Gingerbread update. It’ll be build 2.11.605.3, and includes:

New download manager app New app and power management details New desktop UI, including widgets, icons and screens New customizable dock icons

Plus all the other fixes and updates in Gingerbread, and more you can see in the screen above.

Reported 3.2 update for Sony Tablet S available, more new features coming soon

Did you pick up a Sony Tablet S yet? The recently launched tablet came out of the blocks running Honeycomb 3.1, with a promise of an update to 3.2. Reportedly that promise has begun to come true today, with the 3.2 update becoming available for download.

The Google TV Twitter account came alive tonight, giving warning of an impending “minor security update for tomorrow” for some devices. We’ll go out on a limb and guess that’s the Logitech Revue — that only one that actually sold any units, especially after it hit $ 99.

Motorola XOOM Android 3.2.1 OTA update slowly rolling out
