Nextbit plans battery life boost for Robin in future OS update

Nextbit has revealed its plans to release an OS update for its Robin smartphone in the fourth quarter of 2016 that will offer owners better battery life.

AT&T Galaxy S6 edge+, Note 5 now receiving Marshmallow update

AT&T has finally begun pushing the Marshmallow update out for the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note 5. The update brings Doze, enhanced permission controls, a slightly revamped user interface and more to both handsets. AT&T is the last major carrier in the U.S. to push out the update for these phones. Sprint HTC 10 update now rolling out with camera enhancements and more

Sprint is rolling out a small update to the HTC 10 that bears good news for the phone’s camera. In addition to bug fixes, the one-line list of changes provided by Sprint notes that the latest update also includes “camera enhancements.”

Though Sprint is vague in its own release notes, it looks like the update does contain the latest June security patch, according to users on our forums who have received it already.

LG G Pad X 10.1 on AT&T now receiving the Marshmallow update

AT&T’s LG G Pad X 10.1 has started receiving the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. The OTA update — coming in at 869MB — increments the kernel version to 3.4.0, the build number to MRA58K, and the software version to V93020f.

The changelog lists the following additions:

Samsung Gear 360 gets a firmware update to improve image quality

If you’re one of the lucky few (OK, more than a few) who already have a Samsung Gear 360 camera, you’ve got a firmware update waiting for you.
