Samsung Illusion device page surfaces on Verizon Infocenter

Samsung Illusion

It’s been a while since we talked about the Samsung Illusion, but a friendly ninja just dropped off a screencap of the Verizon Infocenter page for the entry-level handset in our inbox.  Imagine a smaller version of the Nexus S, minus the vanilla Gingerbread build and plus an SD card slot, and you’ll have a pretty good picture of what to expect.  The 1GHz Hummingbird and 512MB of RAM should make for  [Read More…]

Galaxy Nexus cases arriving at Verizon stores; LTE battery life put to the test

Two tid-bits of information on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus have made their way online today that should put Big Red’s users in a good mood.

Cases for the upcoming Nexus have already been spotted at Verizon stores. Both a shell/holster combo (with a kickstand!) and silicone case have been photographed in the wild. There’s still a million possibilities for when the Verizon  [Read More…]

Motorola Droid 4 appears again, this time in Verizon internal systems

Motorola Droid 4

The Motorola Droid 4 has already been spotted in all its glory but there isn’t a whole lot of info out there when it comes to a release date. Its been speculated that it would be a while yet before you can head on down to a retail location and pick one up given the Motorola Droid 3 hasn’t been out all that long but we’re not so sure about that.

It’s OK, Verizon, we’ve all had that problem

Verizon Twitter

What? Who hasn’t had their Twitter account hijacked? What other problem were you thinking about?

FWIW: Verizon seems to be master of its own Twitter domain again, saying “Attention everyone: yes our account was compromised. Please disregard those inappropriate tweets, we are in the process of fixing now.”

Carry on, folks. Thanks, Shaun!

We were not lucky enough to be one of the chosen few, so let’s review the reviews and check out Motorola’s latest  [Read More…]

HTC Rezound coming with Beats Audio to Verizon Nov. 14, ICS update coming in 2012

HTC has joined Verizon to announce the HTC Rezound, the first U.S. phone with Beats Audio built-into the device.

With its dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, 4.3-inch LCD screen, 720p display, and an 8 Megapixel camera with LED flash, the Rezound is an impressive phone. However, that’s not enough to keep people happy in a sea of super phones; access to Verizon 4G LTE network  [Read More…]

Rumored release dates for the Galaxy Nexus are not in short supply. Just about every other day now, another internal document makes its way online with a new, or old, release date for the device. The latest document to hit the Internet lends a helping hand to the credibility of an older rumored release date.

Just two days ago on the first on the month, a leaked Verizon memo pegged the  [Read More…]
