Behold, the Verizon Motorola XYBOARD 8.2. In a nutshell, it’s a scaled-down, slimmed-down, sexed-up verison of the original Motorola Xoom, and it fits right in with the likes of the Motorola RAZR. Verizon had been showing off the Motorola Xyboard Android tablets recently, even though the company had yet to officially announce them or provide any release information. Today, Verizon Wireless confirmed the Droid Xyboard 10.1 and 8.2 are heading to Verizon’s 4G LTE network this month.

Verizon this morning in a press release talked up the first anniversary of the launch of its LTE network, pimping that 190 markets and 200 million people will be covered by Dec. 15 (that’s covered, and not necessarily subscribed).
