Lenovo Yoga C630 Chromebook review

It wasn’t all that long ago when the concept of a high-end Chromebook seemed like an oxymoron. Just a few years back we had $ 250-$ 300 products that sufficed for students and casual work needs. We were initially drawn to them because we realized most of our day is spent in the browser — and it didn’t hurt that they were a fraction of the cost of a traditional laptop.

A few years into the Chromebook line we started  [Read More…]

Get your 4K on with the Lenovo Yoga Chromebook C630

This may run the same software as your kid’s $ 200 school-issued beater, but it’s never looked this nice before.

Chromebooks aren’t just for kids and companies anymore, and try as Chrome OS does to shake off that image and present itself as an operating system for all, it falls to Chromebooks themselves to follow through on this claim. Lenovo’s been making some damn good durable Chromebooks for years, but with the Yoga Chromebook C630, it’s shedding  [Read More…]

Protect your Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 with one of these cases

No matter how careful you are, accidents happen and a case can help prevent things such as scratches, drop damage, and the shattering of important pieces, like the camera lens. You might hesitate on that purchase since you don’t want to cover up the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3’s stylish exterior, but here are some equally fashionable cases to go along with it.

Lenovo Yoga Chromebook: MrMobile is in awe at the size of this lap(top)

Bias alert: when I see the word “Chromebook,” normally I think either low-cost low-capability devices for schoolkids … or super-premium, super-portable Pixelbooks for, well, Google employees. The notion of a massive desktop-replacement laptop never enters my mind – but Lenovo’s Yoga Chromebook is just that.

The Yoga Chromebook is an utter monster of a machine, with a four-pound aluminum chassis that looks big enough to accommodate a 17-inch display (though it settles for a 15.6″ panel instead).  [Read More…]

Lenovo Yoga Chromebook hands-on: $599 gets you a whole lot of laptop

A great upgrade pick for people who value size and screen quality over weight and portability.

After making plenty of successful Chromebooks in the cheaper price segment, Lenovo is stepping up to something a bit more premium with the launch of the new Yoga Chromebook. That “Yoga” name means this is, of course, a convertible laptop with a 180-degree rotating hinge, but it’s also a sign that Lenovo is willing to position a Chromebook with the more premium-focused  [Read More…]

Lenovo’s first Yoga Chromebook launches this October for $599

There are also two cheaper Chromebooks priced at $ 249 and $ 279.

Lenovo is working on a new version of its unique Yoga Book 2-in-1

It looks like Lenovo is taking another shot at the Yoga Book.

The Lenovo Yoga Book was certainly one of the most unique computers to come out of 2016, largely thanks to its futuristic-looking touch keyboard that can operate as an inking surface as well. But while it garnered plenty of eyeballs due to its strange design, Lenovo never followed it up with another version in 2017. It looks like the company may be remedying that, however.
