New RAMpage attack affects all Android phones released since 2012

RAMpage can access passwords, photos, documents, and more.

There’s a new security vulnerability, boys and girls. It’s called RAMpage and is the latest type of Rowhammer attack to hit the scene.

Google releases Android 5.1.1 factory images for 2012 and 2013 Wi-Fi Nexus 7s, Nexus 10

Google has released Android 5.1.1 factory images for the Nexus 7 (2013 Wi-Fi), Nexus 7 (2012 Wi-Fi), and Nexus 10 this evening.

The factory images will allow owners of the above devices to snag the latest version of Lollipop with build number LMY47V.

Google has released the first batch of factory images for the newly-announced Android 5.1 Lollipop tonight for select Nexus devices.

The devices included in this batch are the Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2012, Wi-Fi), and the Nexus 10.

Google publishes Android 5.0.2 factory image for Nexus 7 (2012)

Google has just posted the factory image of Android 5.0.2 Lollipop for the WiFi version of the 2012 Nexus 7. This follows the rollout of the Android 5.0.1 on many Nexus devices recently. With the factory image up, an OTA update can’t be too far away, and we’ll keep you posted on AndroidCentral if we see Android 5.0.2 on other Nexus smartphones and tablets.

Yes, even the 2012 Nexus 7 will get updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop

It looks like Google is being especially generous in terms of the devices that will get updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop. In addition to the Nexus 4, the Nexus 5, the 2013 Nexus 7, and the Nexus 10, Google will also update the 2012 version of the Nexus 7 tablet to Lollipop.

Score Real Soccer 2012 for free from the Android Market
