Android 4.4.3 update with Extreme Power Saving mode for Verizon One M8 coming Wednesday

HTC’s Mo Versi confirms that the Verizon HTC One M8 will be getting the Android 4.4.3 software update come Wednesday, September 10. The exciting feature about the update is that it brings a new Extreme Power Saving mode, or EPS, to the smartphone, which would help stretch out the battery life by turning off non-critical radios and notifications when not in use.

Verizon’s HTC One (M7), One (M8) to receive Android 4.4.3 soon

HTC halts Android 4.4.3 update for AT&T HTC One M8

Update: HTC has confirmed to us that it’s halted the Android 4.4.3 update for the AT&T HTC One M8 after a number of people have reported severe battery drain post-update.

AT&T HTC One M8 4.4.3 update now rolling out

The Android 4.4.3 update for the HTC One M8 on AT&T should now be available for download. T-Mobile and Sprint subscribers got this update earlier this month, not to mention the broad European rollout.

Sprint updates Moto X to Android 4.4.3

Sprint is updating its Moto X smartphone from Motorola with the Android 4.4.3 KitKat operating system. The Sprint release follows the earlier release of Android 4.4.3 on the T-Mobile and developer unlocked editions of Motorola’s flagship smartphone. According to Sprint, the update will be rolling out in waves, so don’t fret if you don’t see an update notification on your Moto X right away.
