This stunning 8K TV from Samsung has (almost) zero bezels

The price is unknown, but it definitely won’t be cheap.

GE has new switches and dimmers that will work for almost any home

Products will be available in early 2020.

What you need to know C by GE is launching a new Three-Wire Smart Switch and Hubless Dimmer with smaller designs that don’t require a neutral wire. The new switch and dimmer will also work with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant without the need of a smart hub. It is also adding a wire-free battery operated switch, dimmer, motion detector, and remote to its lineup of smart lighting products.

The Pixel 3 almost had a 120Hz LCD display

It was not revealed why the team went with OLED instead.

What you need to know The Pixel 3 almost launched with a 120Hz LCD display. The revelation came out on the recent Android Developer’s Backstage podcast from Chet Haase, a member of the Android Developer Relations team. What you need to know App revenue increased by 23%. $ 21.9 billion was spent. App Store makes up the lion’s share.

Our simple summer days are coming to an end.

Summer is the slow season for the Android world — though this summer felt anything but between the Huawei roller coaster, Q gesture drama, and a host of new Chromebooks — but August is here and it’s back to the grind!
