T-Mobile begins testing its home internet service in rural America

It’s expected to be live in 50,000 homes by the end of 2019.

On March 21, T-Mobile announced that it’s started testing a new in-home internet service using its LTE network to bring fast, reliable data speeds to people in the U.S. that live in rural areas with limited access to broadband services.

Simply called “T-Mobile Home Internet”, the service delivers download speeds up to 50Mbps via LTE with no data caps. Customers will pay $ 50/month  [Read More…]

Samsung’s North America CEO Tim Baxter to retire on June 1

Tim Baxter is retiring from his post, with his deputy YH Eom taking over as CEO of Samsung North America.

Samsung North America president and CEO Tim Baxter announced he was retiring from his post effective June 1. During his 12-year tenure at Samsung, Baxter positioned the South Korean giant as a leader in TVs and smartphones in the North American market, as well as making major inroads into the home appliance segment.
