Huawei can sell its 5G wares in the country, rules German goverment

The country will not be banning any 5G equipment vendors.

What you need to know Germany’s Interior Ministry has ruled that it will not ban Huawei from providing 5G equipment to telecom operators in the country. The U.S. government has previously stated that the company’s Chinese origins could represent a national security risk to countries that employ its equipment in their networking infrastructure. LG to reportedly stop producing smartphones in home country of South Korea

Phone production will be moved to an existing plant in Vietnam.

Qualcomm bans the sale of iPhones in another country, this time Germany

How many more countries will follow?

On December 10, Qualcomm announced that it had succeeded in a court case that got certain iPhone models banned from being sold in China. A little over a week later, we’re now seeing the same thing happen in Germany.

Google Store finally lets you buy products from another country

Google Store gets a country picker.

The Google Store is finally easing geographic restrictions and allowing customers to purchase products from other countries. The store’s country selector page lets you browse products and get them delivered to that specific country, provided you have a valid address. For instance, I can now browse the U.S. Google Store from India and pick up the Daydream View or Chromecast Ultra and get them delivered to my family in the U.S.

Xiaomi sells 500,000 phones in India in three days, claims third spot in the country

Xiaomi’s stock is on the rise in India.

This year’s Amazon Great Indian Festival and Flipkart Big Billion Days are behind us, and it looks like Xiaomi has emerged victorious from both sales. India’s telecom regulator bans Free Basics in the country

India’s telecom regulatory authority TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) has effectively banned Free Basics in the country, following its verdict on differential pricing.
