Droid Bionic again on video; boot animation available for other phones

The long slog that is the Motorola Droid Bionic’s road to release continues. First up is the video you see above, which gives a nice look at the speed within the new Philblur UI, as well as the live wallpapers and transition animations. Pretty standard stuff, but it’s nice to whet the appetite some more.

Droid 2 Gingerbread update support page live, hopefully OTA not far behind

Verizon has published the Motorola Droid 2 Gingerbread update support pages, and that’s usually a sign that the update isn’t far off.  The update will bring the Droid 2 to Android 2.3, and software version 4.5.601.A955.Verizon.en.US (that’s a mouthful) as well as an update to Blur not Blur and several bug fixes.  The key enhancements as listed by Verizon:
