Korean media says LG G6 will launch on March 10, Galaxy S8 debuting globally April 21

We now have launch dates for this year’s biggest flagships.

A report out of Korea’s ET News suggests Samsung and LG have finalized the launch dates for their upcoming flagships. Samsung officially stops Galaxy Note 7 sales globally, urges owners to power down phones

It seems this is finally the end of the line for the Galaxy Note 7.

Following reports that Samsung was simply “adjusting” its Galaxy Note 7 production to check on recently reported problems with new phones, the company has issued a statement that it is ceasing sales of the phone worldwide. In the same statement, the Korean electronics giant is urging all Galaxy Note 7 owners to power down and stop using their phones.

Google defies French request to apply ‘right to be forgotten’ globally

Last month, French privacy watchdog CNIL ordered Google to delist “right to be forgotten” requests globally and not just from Google’s European properties. Google has now issued a blog post stating that it would not comply with the French regulator’s demands:

EA launches UFC globally in Google Play, knocking out previous restrictions
