Creative director and vice president Dan Houser is leaving Rockstar Games

Dan Houser was a major part of Rockstar Games’ different titles over the past few years and now he is leaving.

Digital magazines are leaving Google News

Google moves its News app into 2020.

What you need to know Google is shutting down Google News’ print-replica subscription functionality. The announcement was made to current subscribers via email. Users will have their payments refunded and all future-looking subscriptions canceled.

PayPal is leaving the founding group for Facebook’s Libra cryptocurrency

PayPal remains “supportive” of Libra.

What you need to know PayPal is officially leaving Facebook’s Libra Association. The Libra Association still has 27 other members, including Visa, Uber, Spotify, and others. Facebook plans to launch its Libra cryptocurrency next year.

Nest co-founder Matt Rogers is leaving the company after nine years

Rogers was the last of Nest’s two co-founders still working there.

On February 7, Nest announced that it was officially merging with Google’s hardware division in an effort to make the best possible smart home products that it could. One day after this, Nest co-founder and Chief Product Officer, Matt Rogers, is leaving the company.

Eric Schmidt leaving Executive Chairman role, becoming ‘technical advisor’ at Alphabet

January will bring a big change at the highest ranks of Alphabet.

Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt is stepping down from his position as Executive Chairman of the Board at Google’s parent company Alphabet. He will remain at the company in a new position as a “technical advisor,” and remain on the Board of Directors in a typical member capacity, building on his 17 years at the company thus far.
