Google makes it easier to share albums with Photos

Google earlier brought this direct sharing first to Photos for individual images in late 2019.

Movies Anywhere launches Screen Pass so you can share movies with friends

With this new feature, you’ll be able to share access to your purchased movies from the included platforms to your friends.

What you need to know Screen Pass will allow you to share up to three movies per month. Movies Anywhere syncs purchased digital movies from iTunes, Amazon Video, Google Play, VUDU, and others. The new feature is launching in a closed beta today, expanding to open beta in May, and full launch later in 2020.

Google is testing a quick share button for the Chrome toolbar

It’s only available in Chrome Canary for now.

What you need to know Google is testing the inclusion of a quick share button in its mobile browser. The button can be found in the top toolbar, right next to the URL bar. The feature is currently only available in Chrome Canary and requires you to turn on an experimental flag.

Samsung’s market share in Europe jumped to over 40% in Q2 2019

Samsung shipped more phones in Europe in Q2 2019 than Huawei and Apple combined.

What you need to know Samsung and Xiaomi were the two big gainers in the European smartphone market in Q2 2019. Samsung’s market share increased to 40.6% in Europe in the second quarter of 2019. Xiaomi shipped 4.3 million smartphones in European markets in Q2 2019, a growth of 48% over the same period last year.
