OnePlus 8 Pro’s color filter camera will soon be temporarily disabled

The company will tweak how the sensor works before re-enabling it.

What you need to know OnePlus will disable the OnePlus 8 Pro’s color filter camera with an upcoming update. It was recently discovered that the color filter camera is capable of seeing through plastic and certain types of cloth. OnePlus says the camera will be re-enabled in the future after it fixes the “x-ray” problem.

Google Fi is temporarily doubling its full-speed data limit for customers

Data speeds will be throttled down to 256 Kbps after the 30GB limit is reached.

What you need to know Google is temporarily increasing limits for full-speed data to 30GB per user in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Judge temporarily halts $10 billion Microsoft cloud contract with Pentagon

The motion was granted as part of a suit Amazon brought protesting the Defense Department’s selection process for the contract.

What you need to know A judge ordered a temporay halt on Microsoft’s work on a $ 10 billion contract with the U.S. Department of Defense. A new mobile game from Paradox Interactive has been pulled because fans noticed some similarities to another game’s art.

ZTE is being allowed to temporarily operate in the U.S. until August 1

ZTE’s back and forth with the U.S. continues.

A new month means new beginnings, a fresh start, and more ZTE drama. Most recently, it’s been announced that the United States Department of Commerce is allowing ZTE it resume some of its operations in the U.S. until August 1, 2018.

According to a report from Reuters, ZTE will be able to “engage in commercial transactions needed to maintain existing networks and equipment in the United States.”

UK watchdog gets Facebook to temporarily stop collecting data from WhatsApp

Facebook “pauses” WhatsApp data collection in the UK.

WhatsApp announced back in August that it would start sharing data with Facebook to “better fight spam on WhatsApp” and offer “better friend suggestions and show you more relevant ads” on Facebook. Although the service offered a 30-day window to let users opt out of sharing data with the social network, it mentioned that it would collect anonymous information to help Facebook tackle spam and abuse.

OnePlus 3 will be temporarily unavailable in many European countries starting Aug 9

OnePlus has announced some changes that will be taking place on the OnePlus 3 availability in parts of Europe, and the news is not what you want to hear. From August 9 to September 12, OnePlus will temporarily pause availability in various countries like France, Greece, Ireland, Italy and others. The company says it needs to take this course of action because of an overwhelming response and the lack of invites to control it this time around.
