WhatsApp cracks down on users of unofficial clients

It looks like WhatsApp has begun to crack down on users of third-party clients for the messaging service today. The company recently began instituting 24-hour bans for users of WhatsApp Plus, specifically. However, there have been various reports of WhatsAppMD users being affected as well.

Sprint Epic 4G Touch gets unofficial CyanogenMod 7.2 port

It’s not anything official, but enterprising Android developer bubby323 has ported CyanogenMod 7.2 to the Sprint Epic 4G Touch.  Yes, 7.2 is Gingerbread and not the Ice Cream Sandwich everyone wants, but CM9 (the ICS-based build number) isn’t quite ready for any unsupported devices. Galaxy Nexus volume bug gets unofficial fix

While we wait for Google’s promised Galaxy Nexus volume bug patch to arrive over-the-air, Paul O’Brien from MoDaCo already has an unofficial (or at least semi-official) fix ready to download today. It looks like the dual-screen wonder called the LG DoublePlay may be heading to a T-Mobile store near you on November 2. Tegra 3 gets an unofficial official promo video

So the world has been eagerly awaiting the arrival of NVIDIA’s latest mobile offering, the quad-core Tegra 3 (Kal-El). While the actual goods are still not out in the wild, a short teaser video has been leaked to keep our interest in the meantime.

While not revealing anything about any devices the Tegra 3 may be appearing in, the emphasis is as expected on performance. Although, a clear bezel on a tablet could be pretty cool.
