The OnePlus 5 could be available in black, unicorn, red, and gold color options at launch.

Nougat update rolling out to unlocked HTC One M9, coming to carrier variants early next year

Unlocked HTC One M9 is now receiving the Nougat update.

HTC has announced that it is rolling out the Nougat update to the unlocked HTC One M9 starting today. The company also stated that carrier variants of the phone will pick up the update early next year.

Moto G leak points to two variants

Thanks to a new leak today, we no have more information on Motorola’s Moto G 4th generation, launching May 17 at an event in India. According to the leak, there will be two variants of the device, one being higher-end than the other.

HTC One M10 said to have Snapdragon 820 and MediaTek variants, likely to launch after MWC

According to a new report, it appears as though HTC won’t be announcing the HTC One M10 at Mobile World Congress (MWC), and instead plans to have its own event to unveil the phone. The information comes from LlabTooFeR, who has a pretty solid history with HTC leaks. According to the tweets, the One M10 should launch with Android 6.0.1 with Sense 8.0 on top.

Samsung may launch Galaxy S7 edge, edge+ variants alongside standard S7

Samsung will host its next Unpacked event on February 21, which is when we’ll likely see the Galaxy S7 make its debut. It looks like the manufacturer will launch the Galaxy S7 edge and the Galaxy S7 edge+ at the same time, according to an image posted by serial leakster Evan Blass.

Verizon is pushing out a security update to a number of Samsung phones, including the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 edge+, S6 and S6 edge. The changelog for the updates doesn’t include much, as it just states “Android security patches,” which is likely part of Samsung’s plan to fast track monthly security updates.
