AT&T to begin selling LG G Vista 2 on Nov. 6 for $49.99

After first revealing the phone quietly on its YouTube channel last week, AT&T has now confirmed it will begin selling the budget-based 5.7-inch LG G Vista 2 on Nov. 6 for $ 49.99 with a two-year contract.

AT&T decided to reveal a new smartphone, the LG G Vista 2, on its YouTube channel rather than a conventional press release. The phone itself is a successor to the LG G Vista which AT&T started selling over a year ago.

The LG Gx2 is really just a renamed G Vista for South Korea

After launching the LG G Vista in the US earlier this month, LG has announced the device for the South Korean market today, where it will be called the Gx2. Available exclusively on the LG U+ network, the Gx2 will be marketed as the successor to the LG Gx, which made its debut last December.

LG G Vista arriving at AT&T August 22

The LG G Vista will be available on AT&T for $ 49.99 with a two-year agreement or $ 354.99 with no strings attached starting August 22. If you’re willing to sign up for a new two-year qualifying plan, AT&T will even toss in an LG G Pad 7.0 LTE for a buck.

LG G Vista now available online from Verizon at $99 on-contract

It turns out early leaks of the LG G Vista were pretty much spot-on, as the device has just shown up on Verizon’s website for $ 99 on-contract. This cousin of the LG G3 looks very similar to that high-end device, but has a set of lower-end specs and price to appeal to a different set of buyers.

LG G Vista looks set to arrive on Verizon on July 31st

The LG G Vista has been making its rounds for a while now through several leaks but the device more commonly likened to the ‘G3 lite’ looks as though it might finally be released. Latest LG G Vista leak reveals mid-range specs, LTE connectivity
