Huawei’s latest phones are considered “uncertified” for Google Play Protect.

LastPass is warning customers to change their master passwords as a result of recent suspicious activity on its network.

Though LastPass claims that the vault storing user passwords was not accessed, the company is warning users to change their master passwords. Last week the company detected some suspicious activity on the network, and was able to quickly block it.

Samsung warns of steep decline in profits in Q3 F2014 guidance

The world’s largest phone-maker has issued its guidance for the third quarter of the 2014 fiscal year and warns that there may be a steep drop in profits from a year ago and from the previous quarter. With the guidance, this would be the fourth consecutive quarter that Samsung‘s profits are slumping. Operating profit could drop by as much as 60 percent.

Motorola warns of ‘modest profitability’ in Q4 due to competition, lawsuits

Motorola Mobility just sent out some updated guidance on its fourth-quarter 2010 earnings, and it’s not sounding great. The company’s estimating $ 3.4 billion in sales with “modest profitability.” Some 10.5 million mobile devices were sold, with 5.3 million of them being smartphones. That’s still morem smartphones than the 4.8 million in shipped in the third quarter.
